Over 15,000 tourists reached Nainital, causing most hotels and guest houses to be fully occupied. The arrival of tourists has continued since Eid, making most tourist spots in the city bustling with visitors.

Due to the high number of tourist vehicles, there were frequent traffic jams on the Snow View route, and vehicles were seen crawling on other roads. To control traffic, tourist bikes were stopped at Rusi Bypass and Narayan Nagar. Tourists arriving at hotels without parking facilities were also transported into the city via the shuttle service.

Many tourists without prior bookings were stopped, leading most of them to return via the bypass, including those on motorcycles. Long queues of vehicles were seen at Narayan Nagar and Rusi Bypass.
