New Noida-Ganga Expressway Link Road: In a major update for the residents of Noida, the authority stated that a link road will be constructed between New Noida and the Ganga Expressway. The officials stated that the project will pass through Bulandshahr district. The expressway will provide relief to thousands by cutting the travel time and reducing the traffic congestion in the key regions. Apart from this, it will also boost the financial activities in the region.
While providing details, the officials stated that the land acquisition process will begin shortly, adding that the project report will also be prepared soon. "The land acquisition of the New Noida project will start soon because road connectivity to the area is a key issue," Kranti Shekhar, officer on special duty (OSD) of the Noida authority, was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.
"We have planned to construct a link road from the New Noida to Ganga Expressway, which passes through Bulandshahr. We are yet to make a project report of the road project," he added. As per the reports, the land will be acquired in over 30 villages of two districts, Bulandshahr and Gautam Budh Nagar (GB Nagar).
While 24 of these villages belong to Bulandshahr district, lands will also be acquired in 13 villages of Gautam Buddh Nagar. The project will pass through several villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar, including Anandpur, Bel Akbarpur, Kot, Milak Khandera, Phoolpur, and Sainthali.
Apart from this, the project will also pass through multiple villages of Bulandshahr, such as Birondi Fauladpur, Birondi Tajpur, Kokhabad, Kaithara, and Kishanpur.
In separate news, Delhi-NCR commuters are set to get major traffic relief as the final nine-kilometer stretch between DND Maharani Bagh and Jaitpur Pushta Road on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is expected to open soon. Once operational, the corridor will significantly reduce travel time for people travelling between Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Sohna.
