Dhruv Rathee Detained: Dhruv Rathee, renowned YouTuber, has reportedly been detained from his Gurugram residence ahead of Cockroach Janata Party's protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar today. In a post on X, the CJP informed that the YouTuber was detained by the Delhi police at around 8 am. The pressure group further stated that around 50 police personnel had arrived at Rathee's residence to detain him.

"Amid the protests, Delhi Police detained YouTuber @dhruv_rathee from his home in Gurugram...Around 8 AM, approximately 50 police personnel in civilian attire arrived at Dhruv Rathee's house," CJP informed in a post on X.
Along with the YouTuber, the police has also detained at least 150 protesters from different parts of the city Rathee had reportedly come to Gurugram to participate in the CJP-led protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar today.
Earlier in a post on Instagram, Rathee informed that he has arrived in the national capital to participate in the protest, further urging the residents to take part as well. In another video on YouTube, he also informed why he took part in a similar protest in Bengaluru earlier this week.
