Delhi Assault Case: In a tragic incident in Delhi's Hauz Khas, a female biker was reportedly chased and assaulted by unidentified bike-borne men on the intervening night of September 11 and 12. As per the complainant, she was chased by the miscreants while returning from her office. She stated that after chasing and mumbling for a few minutes, they pushed her off the scooter, leading to severe injuries.
Accused Chased, Abused Woman Biker
In her complaint, the victim stated that two men in their twenties riding a motorcycle chased her and passed on vulgar comments. She further stated that she lost control and fell after they deliberately hit her scooter with their vehicle, causing severe injuries. The miscreants reportedly fled the spot soon after ramming their vehicle into her scooter.
While the passerby arranged an ambulance for her, the victim's colleague arrived at the spot and rushed her to Max Hospital in Saket. She was later shifted to Medanta Hospital in Noida, where doctors advised plastic surgery owing to the severity of her injuries, the complainant added.

'CCTV Footages Being Examined'
The police officials stated that they initially received information about a road accident, adding that they could not find anyone at the spot as the victim was taken to the hospital. They further stated that they could not trace the alleged incident in the available CCTV footage recovered from the nearby regions.
Upon being contacted, the victim stated that she has visited her hometown in Uttar Pradesh and will coordinate after recovering from the injuries. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Anant Mittal stated that the police is in contact with the victim, adding that a detailed probe has been launched.
"We are aware of the matter and an FIR has been registered under appropriate sections of law. Police is in continuous contact with the complainant as she is under treatment in her hometown and recovering. She will be joining the investigation soon," Mittal was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
