Delhi Metro Update: To ensure smooth movement for approximately 70,000 spectators attending the "Aura India Tour 2026" concert by singer Diljit Dosanjh at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has extended train services until midnight across its network. The additional metro services will run on all lines except the Airport Express Line and Gurugram's Rapid Metro.
Standby Trains And QR Ticketing
To handle any sudden surge in passenger traffic, DMRC will keep standby trains ready for immediate deployment. In addition, ticketing hours on the Delhi Metro Sarthi mobile app will be extended by an hour to match the revised service timings.
Security Arrangements At JLN Stadium Metro Station
Security arrangements have been put in place at the JLN Stadium Metro station and other key interchange hubs. Additional DMRC staff, customer service personnel, and Customer Facilitation Agents (CFAs) will be deployed to assist commuters and regulate crowd movement.
Security arrangements will also be strengthened at the JLN Stadium Metro station, with additional personnel, door frame metal detectors and enhanced screening measures to ensure orderly movement of passengers.
Nearest Metro Station
The JLN Stadium Metro Station, located on the Violet Line (Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh corridor), is the nearest Metro station to the venue.
