As maintenance work at Ghaziabad Railway Station under the Delhi Division of Northern Railway continues, several train services would be affected during the period. During the repair work, many trains would be cancelled, several platforms would be changed where some trains will berth.
According to Northern Railway, a 10-day power and traffic block has been planned at platform number 4 of Ghaziabad station from September 25 to October 4, 2026. The work involves replacing corroded rails as well as broken and damaged sleepers. The passengers travelling through Ghaziabad during the affected period are advised to check their train status before starting their journey.

Platform Of 45 Trains To Be Changed
At least 45 train services will get platform changes at Ghaziabad during traffic block. These trains have been proposed to be stationed on Platform 3 or Platform 5 in Ghaziabad, instead of the original Platform 4. The affected trains include the Gorakhpur Special, Golden Temple Mail, To-Do Express, Purvanchal Express, Brahmaputra Mail, Nilanchal Express, Kafiyat Express, Intercity Express, GKP–Anand Vihar Express, Lucknow–Anand Vihar Express, and Amrit Bharat Express, among others.
