Kutch Accident: Seven workers were killed and several others injured in a horrific road accident in Gujarat’s Kutch district after a truck collided with a Bolero carrying labourers near the Khavda Renewable Energy Park (RE Park). According to preliminary information, the accident took place on Thursday late night as the workers were travelling towards the park.
Injured Admitted To Hospital
Speaking to news agency ANI, Kutch Collector Anil Ranavasiya said that the accident occurred near Khavda village when a pickup van carrying around 30-32 workers collided with a truck, causing the vehicle to overturn and leaving several people injured. He informed that the injured have been taken to the District Hospital in Bhuj, where they are receiving treatment from specialist doctors.
Meanwhile, teams from the Regional Transport Office (RTO) and the police have been deployed to investigate the incident and determine the exact cause of the collision.

Bhavnagar Road Accident
Earlier on Tuesday, six people had died after a speeding Bolero car rammed into a trailer from behind in Bhavnagar district. As per the eyewitnesses, the accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday near the Trapaj region, leading to panic among the locals. They further stated that the impact was so severe that six people died on the spot and one individual got severely injured.
The injured passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital. The police officials, upon receiving the information, arrived at the site and began the investigation. As per the initial findings, all the passengers of the car were staff members from two different plots of the Alang Shipbreaking Yard. Their tragic death has sent shockwaves among the family members and the employees of the firm.
