Gujarat Road Accident: In a tragic road accident in Gujarat, six people died after a speeding Bolero car rammed into a trailer from behind in Bhavnagar district. As per the eyewitnesses, the accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday near the Trapaj region, leading to panic among the locals. They further stated that the impact was so severe that six people died on the spot and one individual got severely injured.

Probe Underway

The injured passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving the treatment. The police officials, upon receiving the information, arrived at the site and began the investigation. As per the initial findings, all the passengers of the car were staff members from two different plots of the Alang Shipbreaking Yard. Their tragic death has sent shockwaves among the family members and the employees of the firm.

Injured Passenger Being Treated

The injured individual was initially taken to a government hospital soon after the accident with the help of locals and police officials. However, due to his critical condition, the injured individual was transferred to a private hospital in the city after receiving first aid, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

The police teams immediately arrived at the scene and began rescue and relief operations. The officials have taken possession of all six bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination. They have also begun further investigation into matter to disclose the exact reason behind the accident.

Earlier on Sunday, a 39-year-old man died, and two others were injured on Friday after their Ford car struck a roadside pole and plunged into a 100-metre-deep ravine in Uttarakhand's Dehradun district. The accident took place on a mountain road below the Chakrata motorway in the remote Tyuni area. The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Durgesh Chaudhary.
