Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: A fresh twist has emerged in the Ketan Agarwal murder case, with his father, Vishal Agarwal, saying that his son had got his fiancee Siya Goyal’s name tattooed on his neck as a birthday gift for her.
The high-profile murder case dates back to June 18, when Ketan Agarwal was allegedly pushed off a cliff at Lohagad Fort by his fiancee, 22-year-old Siya Goyal, and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, after multiple failed attempts to kill him. Agarwal and Goyal were set to marry in November 2026.
Investigators have alleged that the murder was not impulsive but the result of weeks of planning, including multiple failed attempts and a rehearsal conducted days before the crime.
What Did Ketan’s Father Reveal?
Vishal Agarwal recalled that the family was excited about Siya’s birthday celebrations and the couple’s upcoming wedding and had no indication that anything was wrong.

He said the family had made elaborate preparations for the engagement and had purchased gifts of Siya’s choice.
"When we went shopping for her engagement, we bought 28 dresses of her choice and 15 sets of gold jewellery for her".
He added that Ketan had planned a special birthday celebration for Siya in Mahabaleshwar on June 19 and had also got her name inked on his neck as a gift.
He further claimed that neither Ketan nor the family had any suspicion about Siya’s alleged intentions at the time.
Meanwhile, police arrested Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary in June.
A 5,053-page chargesheet filed by the Pune Rural Police has detailed the alleged planning behind the murder of 26-year-old businessman Ketan. The chargesheet alleged that Siya and Chaudhary used a fake Instagram account to persuade Ketan to visit Lohagad Fort on June 18, where he was allegedly pushed from a cliff.

Police have also alleged that attempts were made earlier to kill him at the same location.
The chargesheet, submitted before the Vadgaon Maval court has named Agarwal’s fiancee, Siya Goyal, her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, and Ritesh Hange as accused. Police have cited witness statements, WhatsApp chats, photographs, mobile phone data, call records and technical analysis as evidence in the case.
Vishal Agarwal said the family had welcomed Siya as a future member and had no reason to suspect that the relationship was not as it appeared.
