Mother Recalls How Incident Unfolded

Recalling the ill-fated day, she said she was not well that day, so his son was sitting with her during the metro ride. Devi explained that because it was a long journey and she was not feeling well, she had sat down comfortably with her son. She recalled that the two accused then arrived, and the father hit her son, taking him aback. Her son said that while it was a senior citizen seat, it was still not the way to behave. She added that she had held her child's hand and asked him to stand up, after which they grabbed Sharma by the neck and started punching him.
