Mumbai-Pune Expressway Traffic Rules: Commuters travelling between Mumbai-Pune will need to plan their journeys carefully as restrictions on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link come into force on November 1, 2026. The new rules prohibit certain categories of vehicles from using the stretch and prescribe separate speed limits for light vehicles and passenger buses.

The restrictions have been introduced in view of the technical specifications and design of the Missing Link's tunnels, with passenger safety being the primary consideration. Commuters travelling on the expressway should check the revised guidelines before setting out to avoid inconvenience and ensure a smooth journey.
