Jagran Correspondent, Samastipur: Another video showing a group of men surrounding, abusing, and grabbing a teenage girl on a road went viral on Saturday, marking the third such incident to emerge from Bihar's Samastipur district in three days.

Girl Seen Pleading In Latest Video
The latest video, reportedly from the Kalyanpur block area, shows a group of men blocking the girl's path. In the footage, a youth wearing a vest is seen repeatedly grabbing her hand as she attempts to pull away. The victim is heard pleading, saying, "Please let me go, brother, our home is in Purbadi Tola."
A motorcycle is also visible at the scene, though its number plate is unclear in the clip. However, the authenticity of the video and the claims accompanying it have not been independently verified.
Cyber DSP Durgesh Deepak stated that an investigation has been initiated. Officials are currently analysing the footage to identify the suspects and establish the exact location and time of the incident.
Similar Incidents Rock Samastipur This Week
This latest clip follows two separate harassment videos that emerged from the district earlier in the week:
- Karpurigram Incident: On September 23, a video surfaced showing a girl allegedly being harassed near Jagatsinghpur village. Police subsequently arrested four men and remanded them to custody, while also seizing a mobile phone containing the video.
- Musrigharari Incident: On September 24, a second video emerged from the Musrigharari police station area, showing a young man and a girl surrounded by a group of men who blocked their path, behaved indecently, and allegedly subjected the duo to verbal abuse and physical assault.
Police have taken strict action in the previous cases and arrested half a dozen suspects.
