Jagran Correspondent, Samastipur: Hours after a video surfaced online showing a minor girl being harassed in Samastipur's Jagatsinghpur village, a similar incident has emerged from the region's Musrigharari area.
Mob Surrounds Man, Woman In Latbasepura Panchayat
The latest video, reported to be from Latbasepura Panchayat within the jurisdiction of Musrigharari police station, shows a young man and woman riding a scooter when a crowd surrounds them. In the clip, several individuals block their path, behave indecently, and allegedly subject the duo to verbal abuse and physical assault on the road.
Demand For Action
The video has sparked widespread outrage, with local residents demanding action and the arrest of those involved, emphasising that no one has the right to take the law into their own hands under any circumstances. However, the clip has not yet been independently verified, and it remains unclear what triggered the altercation.

Four Arrested After Minor Harassed In Jagatsinghpur
This incident comes after another disturbing video surfaced from the Bandh bypass road in Jagatsinghpur village. In that case, a minor girl and her friend were harassed by local miscreants during a photoshoot.
The group surrounded the victim, passed vulgar comments, and grabbed her hands and hair. When she attempted to escape, one of the men grappled her from behind while others made derogatory remarks, even after she informed them that the boy with her was her brother. One of the miscreants recorded the entire ordeal and posted it on social media.
Upon examining the viral video, the police identified and arrested four individuals involved in the harassment.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Samastipur police said, "In the aforementioned case, the police from Karpurigam police station have arrested all four accused. Further action is being taken."
