Bihar's Samastipur Viral Video: Days after a teen was sexually assaulted in Bihar's Jamui, a similar incident was reported in Samastipur where a minor girl was harassed by a group of men. In the video circulating on the social media platforms, the victim can be seen surrounded by the miscreants. She was allegedly abused and physically harassed during a photoshoot on the Bandh bypass road in Jagatsinghpur village.

Samastipur Video Goes Viral

As per the reports, the local goons surrounded the victim and her friend during a photoshoot and began passing vulgar comments. One of them even recorded the whole incident and circulated it on the social media platforms, leading to the outrage. In the video, while one of the accused was seen holding her hand, another man attempted to grab her hair from behind.

Accused Hurled Abuses

While the victim tried to escape at one point, a miscreant was seen grappling her from behind to stop her from leaving the site. Apart from this, the goons passed below the belt comments when she informed them that the boy accompanying her was her brother, reported India Today.

4 Arrested, Probe On

Amid the ongoing probe into the shocking Jamui incident, the video from Samastipur sparked another row and raised serious questions on the law and order. The state police, upon examining the viral video, arrested four individuals involved in the harassment. The accused are being interrogated as the search for other miscreants continue, the officials stated.

"In the aforementioned case, the police from Karpurigam police station have arrested all four accused. Further action is being taken," the Samastipur police said in a post on X. While reacting to the incident, Bihar Minister Kumar Shailendra stated that the state government will not compromise in dealing with criminals, further alleging that there is no atmosphere of fear.

"CM Samrat Choudhary is very serious about law and order in the state. You have seen how an encounter was done in the Jamui case. There could be some reason behind such developments happening. The Samrat Choudhary govt will not compromise in dealing with criminals. Women are carrying on with their lives and there is no atmosphere of fear," Shailendra said.

The incident has come to light amid the probe into the Jamui case where a class 10th female student was sexually harassed by a group of men, in a typical example of moral policing.
