CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke has said that 'the whole country will become Jantar Mantar' following the Delhi Police's decision to denotify the historic site as a designated protest venue and introduce three alternative locations. He accused the government of restricting democratic protests and targeting the right to dissent.

In a post on X, Dipke wrote, "They have removed Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site. Yes, it’s no longer a protest site as anyway it was turned into a war zone by the coward dictator.

Ab poora desh Jantar Mantar banega!"

The announcement followed a standing order issued on October 11 by Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar, designating Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground as the new approved zones for demonstrations.

"Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, had constituted a committee to examine alternative proper venues for citizens' right to organise protest/demonstrations in place of the existing 'designated site'," the order stated.
