Ratna Singh, legal head of the Cockroach Janata Party, shared an emotional post on Instagram over the arrests of Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. Singh posted a story on Instagram highlighting her emotional attachment to her best friend (Das).
In the Instagram story, she posted a video clip, showing herself with Das. "It's tough for everyone, but it's tougher when it's your best friend. I am sleep-deprived, dead, exhausted, but I am so proud of @seven_shots & praying he is doing well along with Ashu! The side one sees, the selfless fight for others, the risk we all take - definitely not for all."

Ratna Hits Back At The Trolls
Ratna, who has been facing constant trolling since the arrests of Das and Ranka, hit back at the trolls. "Aaj saare ₹2 wale trollers idhar hi busy hain. I feel I have made it here if your “karta-dharta” feels you need to earn ₹2 by abusing, trolling, and threatening me. Thank you! Cry more, kya pata “upar se” aur orders aa jaayein," she wrote on X, which roughly translated as: "I feel I have made it here if your boss feels you need to earn Rs 2 by abusing, trolling, and threatening me. Thank you! Cry more, who knows more orders might come from “above”."
Singh engaged with another X user named BALA (@erbmjha). "Delhi police lied in front of court today that a call was given for other protesters to join at Jantar Mantar yesterday. Absolutely false! No public call was ever made. I feel bad that police has to act on orders from “top”- itni wafadari!," she wrote on X on Wednesday. On this post, BALA wrote, "No wonder Saurabh and Ashutosh are in judicial custody when you’re their lawyer."
Responding to BALA's jibe, she said, "Apko jaan ke dukh hoga, lekin main inki lawyer nahi hun. Sorry to disappoint you Bala ji. Recover soon."
CJP Set For Tiranga Protest
Meanwhile, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke called on "patriots" to gather at Central Park on October 16 with the national flag, alleging that CJP members Das and Ranka were "jailed for unfurling the tricolour". The call came on a day Das and Ranka were sent to five-day judicial custody and were lodged in Tihar Jail for allegedly violating their peace bonds and trespassing into Jantar Mantar, which has been denotified as a protest area.
