Ahead of the UP International Trade Show in Noida, the state government has announced plans to deploy 25 electric buses across three routes, connecting Noida and Greater Noida to the venue for the five-day event. Operating between the Botanical Garden and the India International Expo Mart in Greater Noida, the e-city bus service will run every 20 minutes to accommodate commuters.
The buses will provide better public transportation access to those attending the trade show. The trade show will be held at the Expo Mart from the 25th to the 29th. A total of 25 buses will operate on all three routes during the trade show.
To ensure passengers don't have to wait long for a bus, buses will operate at 20-minute intervals. It aims to provide easy public transport to the people visiting the UP International Trade Show to reach the Expo Mart.
Passengers can access the Expo Mart via three designated routes:
Route 1: Departs from Botanical Garden and runs via Golf Course, City Centre, Hoshiarpur, Sector 51, Parthala, Gaur Chowk, Ek Murti Roundabout (Greater Noida West), and Surajpur Collectorate to reach Expo Mart.
Route 2: Operates from Botanical Garden to Expo Mart via Sector 37 Underpass, Chhalera, Agahpur, Baraula, Sector 50 Metro Station, Sector 75 Metro Station, North Eye Chowk, Sector 116, Sector 78, Samsung Phase 2, Phool Mandi, Kulesara, and Surajpur.
Route 3: Travels from Botanical Garden via City Centre, Parthala Chowk, Gaur Chowk, and Ek Murti Roundabout to reach Expo Mart.
To facilitate smooth travel for attendees of the five-day trade show, public transportation options across these three routes have been provided for residents of Noida, Greater Noida, and Greater Noida West, said S.P. Singh, General Manager, Noida Authority.
This year’s International Trade Show is the fourth edition of the trade show will run from September 25 to 29 and is expected to bring more than 1,000 exhibitors, industrialists, exporters and foreign buyers to the Expo Mart. Officials of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations said business-to-business meetings would be held between Indian and overseas participants.
