Noida International Airport: With the launch of Noida International Airport, air travel options for residents of Noida and nearby NCR cities have expanded significantly, reducing dependence on Indira Gandhi International Airport. The airport is now being positioned as a key alternative hub, with multiple airlines beginning scheduled operations.
IndiGo is preparing to start full-scale commercial services from Jewar, connecting it to 12 major Indian cities. The airline has already opened bookings after releasing its route schedule. In addition, IndiGo has been operating daily flights to four destinations since June 16, marking the early phase of its expansion from the airport.
Meanwhile, Akasa Air is currently running services from Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru to Jewar and is expected to expand its network further with additional destinations soon.
Flights from Noida Airport to 12 new cities to begin from July 1
From July 1, IndiGo will further expand its network from Noida International Airport to cities including Navi Mumbai, Srinagar, Jodhpur, Dharamshala, Bhopal, Dehradun, Bareilly, Kishangarh, Lucknow, Jaipur, Pantnagar, and Chandigarh. These services will run daily with same-day return options, improving connectivity across northern and western India.

At present, flights to Bengaluru, Jammu, Hyderabad, and Amritsar are already operational. However, services are still limited to daytime operations as the airport gradually scales up its infrastructure and scheduling capacity.

Despite airfares from Jewar being largely comparable to, and in some cases higher than, those at Delhi’s IGI Airport, many passengers are still opting for the new airport. The key advantage remains reduced road travel time and avoidance of heavy traffic congestion while accessing the main Delhi airport.
