Legal Correspondent, Patna: The Patna High Court has taken a significant step to expedite the resolution of cases involving the use of unfair means in public examinations. It has decided to establish three special fast-track courts in the state to hear cases filed under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

Special hearings will be held in Patna, Lakhisarai and Purnia

According to the High Court's decision, these special courts at the District and Additional District and Sessions Judge level will be constituted in Patna, Lakhisarai and Purnia.

These courts will hear cases of unfair means related to public examinations. The purpose of this arrangement is to prevent serious examination-related matters from remaining pending for a long time.
