Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Nandini Bosmia, who was in a live-in relationship with drug peddler Aslam Hussain in Rajkot, allegedly died by suicide in Gujarat's Rajkot. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her flat. In her last message, she told her father that Aslam had pawned all of her jewellery.

Bosmia's father has accused Aslam of murder. Police have handed over the body to the family after a medical examination and post-mortem and are investigating the allegations. The family has alleged that Aslam had previously attacked Nandini with a knife in Junagadh.

Nandini Bosmia, a resident of Jetpur, Rajkot, was associated with AAP and had contested the recent municipal elections from Jetpur. She lived in Aslam Hussain's house in Junagadh, where they met. Later, they shifted together to a flat in Rajkot. Aslam would visit his wife in Junagadh, which would often lead to arguments.

On Monday, before taking the final step, Nandani put up a WhatsApp status and revealed that Aslam had pawned all her jewellery. In her final status, Nandani addressed her father and wrote, "Dad, I have lost the battle of life."
