What Will Happen To E20-Compatible Vehicles?
The Union Minister, in a video on social media, said, "I received a question: 'I purchased an E20 vehicle in April, will it now become useless?'" Responding to this question, Puri said E20 and E85 are two different fuel categories, designed for different types of vehicles. The introduction of E85 does not mean the end of E20 or petrol vehicles, he clarified. He emphasised that E85 fuel is exclusively for flex-fuel vehicles, not for standard E20-compliant vehicles.

E85 Fuel Has Been Used In Brazil For Decades: Puri
Puri said, "E85 fuel has been used in Brazil for decades. Flex-fuel vehicle engines can run on various ethanol-petrol blends, ranging from E20 to E100."

What Is E85 Fuel?
