Jagran Correspondent, Hamirpur: To continue receiving benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers must complete their annual e-KYC verification by July 31. Additionally, Deputy Agriculture Director Pramod Kumar advised farmers whose payments are stalled, including those approved based on land inheritance, to update their details via the Missing Information tab on the official PM-Kisan portal.
Complete e-KYC And Bank Seeding By July 31
Farmers must complete their annual e-KYC and ensure their bank accounts are linked with Aadhaar by July 31 to continue receiving benefits under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Aadhaar seeding can be completed through respective bank branches or the India Post Payments Bank.
Deputy Agriculture Director Kumar warned that failure to complete e-KYC or update missing details by the stipulated deadline may result in farmers being ineligible as per the rules of the scheme, resulting in the withholding of future payouts.
How To Complete eKYC For PM Kisan
Farmers can complete their e-KYC at the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or do it themselves using the PM Kisan mobile app. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you complete the process:
- Visit the official website at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Under the 'Farmers Corner' section, click on 'e-KYC'.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click Search.
- Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click Get OTP.
- Enter the OTP received on your phone and submit to complete the verification.

Deputy Agriculture Director Pramod Kumar has urged all eligible farmers in the district not to wait until the deadline.
