In view of the heightened security arrangements for Republic Day celebrations, parcel booking and handling services have been temporarily suspended at several key railway stations in Delhi from January 23 to January 26.

During this period, no parcel bookings will be accepted, and parcels arriving from other stations will not be unloaded. Parcel godowns and platforms will remain completely free of all parcel packages and packing material. The ban will apply to both incoming and outgoing parcel traffic, including leased SLRs (Second Luggage Racks) and VP (Value Payable) consignments.

However, registered newspapers and magazines will be allowed to be booked after completing all necessary commercial formalities.
