Railways News: The Railways has informed that over 60 trains to Delhi were running late on Saturday due to the presence of dense fog. The authority stated that the trains from several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and other states, have been operating late due to the adverse weather conditions. The delay of several hours has led to inconveniences for thousands of passengers on a daily basis. The Railways stated that the situation is not likely to change for the next few days, further advising the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the Railways stated that several long-distance trains, including the New Delhi-Darbhanga special, the New Delhi-Lucknow Gomti express, and the Sampark Kranti express, are running late on Saturday due to the fog. Apart from the long-distance trains, several trains from the nearby states are also running late, leading to the inconveniences.

These trains are running late:

- New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar Special: 7 hours 15 minutes

- New Delhi-Howrah Duronto Express: 4 hours 45 minutes

- New Delhi-Sogaria (Kota) Superfast Express: 3 hours 15 minutes

- New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar Special: 2 hours

- New Delhi-Lucknow Gomti Express: 1 hour 15 minutes

- New Delhi-Darbhanga Bihar Sampark Kranti Express: 1 hour 15 minutes

- New Delhi-Rajgir: 1 hour

The authority further stated that the Saharanpur-Old Delhi Passenger train is running two and a quarter hours late, adding that the Dankaur-Shakur Basti EMU is running one and three-quarter hours late. The Mathura-New Delhi EMU is running one and a half hours late, and the Jind-New Delhi MEMU, Panipat-Ghaziabad MEMU, Mathura-Ghaziabad EMU, Ballabhgarh-Shakur Basti EMU, and Hisar-New Delhi Passenger trains are all running one and a quarter hours late.
