A road accident occurred on Tuesday in Sehore district, adjacent to Madhya Pradesh's capital, Bhopal. A Chouhan Travels bus (MP 04 PA 2877), traveling from Harda to Bhopal, lost control at the Salkanpur Nahar Tiraha and collided with a canal culvert. A motorcyclist was also caught in the accident. Reportedly, the driver swerved suddenly in an attempt to save the motorcyclist, causing him to lose balance and crash the bus into the culvert.
Panic And Injuries
According to preliminary information, there were approximately 45 passengers on board. The impact of the collision caused panic at the scene. About 22 passengers sustained injuries in the accident and were immediately rushed to Rehti Hospital. Some passengers managed to reach the hospital on their own using other means of transport.
Critical Conditions
Two of the injured passengers are reported to be in critical condition. After receiving primary treatment at the local center, they were referred to Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal for advanced care.

Police Response
The accident took place around 10:30 am. Upon receiving the information, police from the Salkanpur outpost arrived at the scene. As the 108 ambulance and other emergency vehicles could not reach the location on time, the police administration acted swiftly and transported the injured to the Community Health Center in Rehti using their own vehicles. The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
