State Bureau, Jammu: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra shrine board has achieved yet another historic milestone this year. As of June 22, 2026, the total number of devotees who have had darshan at the holy sacred pilgrimage sites has crossed the 50-lakh mark. Official figures confirm that 50.70 lakh pilgrims have so far visited the shrine and received the blessings of Mata Rani.
This milestone is not just a statistical record but a reflection of the deep-rooted faith, devotion, and trust of devotees from across India and abroad. In the same period last year, around 39.84 lakh pilgrims had gone for the yatra, whereas this year the figure has risen to 50.70 lakh, an impressive increase of approximately 10.86 lakh devotees.

Under the guidance of the Shrine Board and the leadership of the Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, extensive improvements have been made in several areas, including infrastructure expansion, cleanliness systems, crowd management mechanisms, healthcare services, disaster management preparedness, battery car services, and ropeway services. The expansion of digital services has further enhanced convenience and streamlined the overall pilgrimage experience.
