A new train has been announced by the Railway Department, with the increase in passenger needs starting from Dibrugarh to Lucknow. This train will start from Dibrugarh and Lucknow on December 23. The train 05905 will depart from Dibrugarh at 2 pm on December 19 and reach Lucknow by 4:30 am the next day. 

On the other hand,  train number 05906 Lucknow Dibrugarh special train departing from Lucknow at 11:30 pm will reach Dibrugarh by 5:30 am the next day. This train will leave Lucknow on 23rd December and reach Dibrugarh on 24th. 

Easier Commute For Passengers 

The special train will be a combination of general and sleeper coaches, providing better convenience for the journey. The train is also expected to have stoppages at major stations, including Khargaria, Begusarai, Barauni, and Navgacchia, ultimately keeping travel flexible for passengers of other destinations.

This initiative was introduced specifically to meet the demands of growing passenger needs and make long-distance travel easier and more convenient.

Constant Efforts By Railway Department

This new introduction is also expected to add to regional growth, development, and build connectivity from the north east to the north. In the last few years. The Railway Department is constantly striving to make travel easier, convenient, and cost-effective. 

Facilities in Railway stations are constantly monitored, inspected, and maintained as needed before the day of commencement. Local officials working in the designated stations are requested to proactively take care of any maintenance, if needed.

Revised Timing For Chart Announcement

The Railway Board has again revised the timing of the preparation of the first reservation chart for trains across the Indian Railways. Earlier, the Railway Board announced a revision of the timing for the preparation of the first reservation chart. 

The first chart of the reservation list for trains scheduled to depart between 5 am and 2 pm will be prepared by 8 pm, the previous day. This marks a maximum of 18 hours in advance of the train departure time. For trains departing between 2 pm and 2 midnight and 5 am, the list counts 10 hours in advance.
