In a recent development in the death case of Sahil Dhaneshra, the autopsy report revealed that the 23-year-old died due to severe haemorrhage. The new report pointed out that the accident turned fatal as the victim's skull was fractured on the left side.
The postmortem report revealed that the Delhi man sustained multiple injuries to his head and chest. It further mentioned that the major cause of death was due to severe cranio-cerebral trauma along with brain haemorrhage.
The accident took place on February 3, when a Scorpio rammed into Sahil's motorcycle from the opposite direction and then crashed into a Swift Dzire parked by the lane.
The latest reports said the victim sustained multiple fractures in his left ribs. Moreover, blood was found in his pleural cavities, pointing to severe chest trauma. According to an NDTV report, blood was accumulated between the victim's skull and scalp, indicating heavy trauma.
How Did The Fatal Accident Take Place
The incident took place on February 3 at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management in Dwarka Sector 11. According to reports, a Scorpio rammed into Sahil's motorcycle from the opposite direction and then crashed into a Swift Dzire parked by the lane.
When the police reached the spot, they discovered a scene of tangled metal involving all three vehicles.
The taxi driver, identified as Ajit Singh, also suffered injuries and was being treated in the IGI hospital. The police will record his statements after his recovery.
Minor Accused Gets Bail
The Scorpio driver turned out to be a 17-year-old juvenile. The minor was caught during the investigation, following which he was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board. Although the Scorpio driver was kept in an observation home, the Board on February 10 granted him interim bail due to his 10th board exams.
