Gujarat Triple Suicide Shocker: Two Friends Die Within 24 Hours In Vadodara; Third Hangs Himself In Bihar

Jagran Correspondent, Vadodara: A deeply unsettling and mysterious case has shocked the Makarpura area of Vadodara after two friends ended their lives within a span of 24 hours. The tragedy has taken a more complex turn amid widespread local reports that a third close friend from the same group had committed suicide in Bihar just two days back.

The back-to-back deaths of three young friends have triggered intense speculation, prompting police authorities to launch a multi-state investigation into a deeper underlying cause.

According to our sources, the sequence of events began yesterday at the Makarpura railway station, where a youth jumped in front of a speeding train. Upon receiving the information, the Railway Police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, and started a probe.

The deceased was identified as Ravi Kushwaha, a native of Ruh village in Bihar, who had recently moved to Vadodara in search of employment. His body was sent to Sayaji Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Police officials are still working to find the exact motive behind his extreme step.

Within Hours of Friend's Death, Room Partner Commits Suicide

As authorities were conducting preliminary enquiries into Ravi's death, a second tragedy struck the same neighbourhood. Ravi’s close friend and roommate, Vikas Kushwaha, was also found dead by hanging in their shared rented room. The back-to-back suicides of two roommates who lived and worked together have left both residents and the police baffled.

Third Suicide and Bihar Connection Deepens the Mystery

The biggest twist came when officials got to know that another close friend of these two friends had also committed suicide in Bihar two days ago. It is alleged that the third close associate of the duo had hanged himself in their hometown just forty-eight hours earlier. The sudden, unexplained deaths of three interconnected youths have fuelled intense speculation regarding a common distress factor.

Authorities are exploring multiple angles, including severe financial distress, acute mental health struggles, or external pressures. Makarpura Police and Railway Police have formed a joint investigative team to probe into the triple suicide case.
