Lucknow Protest: Abhijeet Dipke, who rose to fame on social media after forming the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), didn't find what he expected when he landed in Lucknow airport on Friday. A large number of teachers, along with students, were protesting against the continued paper leaks and public disclosure of CBSE exam answer sheets in Lucknow. Dipke arrived on an afternoon flight with student leaders from the SFI and AISA to join the protest, but the students ignored him. He wasn't even given a ten-minute opportunity to speak, prompting him to fly to Delhi on a 3 pm flight.
Dipke Continues To Demand Union Education Minister's Resignation
Candidates for various examinations, including teacher recruitment, gathered at Eco Garden. They raised their voices and protested the cancellation of the recruitments. Meanwhile, a scuffle broke out between Dipke and the candidates who had come to support the protesters. Dipke wanted to address them, but the candidates refused to listen. However, in a brief speech, Dipke reiterated his demand for the resignation of the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.
More than five thousand candidates participated in the protest that began at 10 am at Eco Garden. Dipke arrived at 2 pm with a Constitution book and stayed there for about 40 minutes. The candidates' protest continued amid the presence of the Rapid Action Force, PAC, and police. Amidst protests and sloganeering, Dipke began addressing the crowd. A group of teachers and students had planned a protest on May 31, 2026, against irregularities in education and competitive examinations. Subsequently, they announced a protest at Lucknow's Eco Garden on June 12, 2026.
As part of this plan, Dipke arrived at Eco Garden at 2 pm with some student leaders and women from the SFI and AISA. He attempted to join the ongoing teacher-student protest there. The protesters told him that this protest was not against any government, but rather about the purity of government and competitive examinations. They did not want the Cockroach Janata Party to hijack it.

Even then, Abhijeet Dipke asked for the microphone to speak for ten minutes, stating that he had come to Lucknow from Mumbai. However, the protesters refused his request. An angry Dipke then walked back to his car convoy. From there, he reached Lucknow Airport and left for Delhi by 3 pm. Following this, the protesters posted on social media, "This is Maharaj Yogi's UP @abhijeet_dipke."
