This incident came to light after a similar previous case in Nagpur where a 25-year-old woman died by suicide after allegedly strangling her three-year-old daughter to death on September 21. The accused, Kirti Buwade, took this step when her husband, who works as a trackman in railways, left for work.
Initial investigation revealed that the woman was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for the same for the last two years. However, no suicide note was found and she had a normal conversation before her husband left.
