The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch two residential plot schemes during Navratri, offering housing plots for both the general public and workers near Noida Airport.
Plot Sizes And Location
The upcoming scheme will be launched in Sector 5A and will include plots ranging from 40 square metres to 300 square metres.
While 40 square metre plots will be reserved for economically weaker sections (EWS) and workers, larger plots ranging from 162 square metres to 300 square metres will be available for the general public.

The exact number of plots is yet to be finalised, but the YEIDA board has already approved 4,000 residential plots. The application schedule and pricing details are expected to be announced soon.
What Makes This Scheme Different?
A major change has been introduced in the new YEIDA housing scheme. Applicants who have already received a residential plot allotment from Noida, Greater Noida or any previous YEIDA scheme will not be eligible to apply this time.
The move has been introduced to ensure that first-time applicants get a fair opportunity in the allotment process.
YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh said the scheme will soon be finalised and registered with RERA. He added that it is likely to be launched during Navratri.
Previous Scheme Received Massive Response
The new scheme comes after the authority’s previous residential plot scheme received an overwhelming response. Under the scheme launched in the current financial year, YEIDA allotted 973 residential plots, for which more than one lakh applications were received.
