Jharkhand Releases Provisional Seniority List For 1,984 Medical Officers; Objections Invited Till Nov 30

The Jharkhand Health Department has released a provisional seniority list of medical officers from the 1984 batch. All concerned officers have been instructed to carefully review the list and report any errors.

The Jharkhand Health Department has released the provisional mutual seniority list for medical officers of the non-academic health service. In this list of 1,984 medical officers, Dr Yugal Kishore Chaudhary, the Civil Surgeon of Deoghar, is in the first position. 

Meanwhile, Dr Siddharth Sanyal, Director-in-Chief of Health Services, is ranked sixth from the top. Dr CK Shahi, Regional Deputy Director of Dumka, is second; Sudipta Ray, posted at RIMS, is third; the DRCHO of Hazaribag is fourth; and Dr Shashi Prakash Sharma, posted at the Health Directorate, is in fifth place.

Dr Sushanto Kumar Manjhi, the former Civil Surgeon of West Singhbhum, who was recently suspended in connection with the transfusion of HIV-infected blood to 5 thalassaemia-affected children, is at the 96th position on the seniority list.

The department has asked the medical officers included in the seniority list to submit any objections, along with evidence, by November 30. A letter has been sent to all Civil Surgeons, and the Principals and Superintendents of medical colleges, among others, instructing them to inform all medical officers about the provisional seniority list and to collect and submit any objections to the department.
