Ingredients To Make Soft Rice-Sooji Dhokla:

Ingredient Quantity
Soaked Rice 1 cup
Sooji (semolina) 1/4 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Yogurt 1 cup
Water as needed
Green Chillies (chopped) 1 tsp
Ginger 1/2 tsp
Eno (fruit Salt) 1 tsp

Ingredients For Tempering:

Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Asafoetida pinch
Curry Leaves Handful

Method To Make Soft Rice-Sooji Dhokla For Filling And Yummy Breakfast Meals:

1. In a container, add soaked rice, sooji, salt, sugar, yoghurt and water.

2. Now, blend it all to make a smooth, flowy batter. Now, in a mixture, add green chillies and ginger.

3. Then, prepare a temper. In a hot oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and a handful of curry leaves. Add it to the white batter and mix well.

4. Now, just like you steam idlis, prepare a steamer. On a plate, spread a circle of cooking paper, and grease it with butter or oil.

5. And just before pouring the batter on it, add Eno or any other fruit salt in the batter with a tbsp of water, mix well and pour it all over and cover with a lid and let it steam for 10 to 15 minutes on medium-high heat

6. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro and cut into triangles like pizza slices and serve with your choice of chutney.
