Chelsea vs Manchester United HIGHLIGHTS, Women's FA Cup Final 2025: Baltimore Nets Brace As Chelsea Lift Their 6th FA Cup Title With 3-0 Victory

Chelsea have defeated Manchester United in the final of the Women's FA Cup 2024-25. On the back of goals from Baltimore and Macario, Chelsea have lifted their sixth FA Cup title. 

Goal! And it's over for United now as Chelsea get another. The lead is extended to 3-0 as the Blues almost have their hands on the trophy. Amazing pressing from the right side, and Baltimore took on the defenders inside the box before producing a perfect finish to find the back of the net.

Goal! United's hopes of a comeback face a massive setback as Chelsea have extended their lead to 2-0. That was a brilliant ball in through a free kick, and Macario's magnificent header found the back of the net. Chelsea are now inching closer to their sixth FA Cup title win.

Both teams are having a discussion over their tactics for the final few minutes of this final. In the meantime, Man United have made multiple changes as they continue to look for an equaliser.

There was a threatening move triggered by United inside the Chelsea box, but the goalkeeper was quick to react and made sure of her team's 1-0 lead with a few minutes remaining in the match.

The action has resumed, and Man United came so close to scoring an equaliser quickly after the break, but Terland's header went straight at Chelsea's goalkeeper.

There's the half-time whistle and Chelsea finally managed to take the lead towards the end minutes before the break. United got a freekick but counldn't capitalise as both teams head back to their respective dressing rooms.

Goal! Baltimore makes no mistake with the penalty as she gives Chelsea a 1-0 lead just before halftime. That was a clear foul by Bizet on a Chelsea player inside the box, and the referee was quick to finalise her decision of a penalty.

Chelsea got another chance there as Beever-Jones unleashed a slow but tricky shot that went straight into the hands of the United goalkeeper, who had to stretch her body towards her left.

That was a brilliant work to win the ball, and Chelsea came up with a counterattack, but the pass inside the box was cleared by the United defender.

Chelsea won both league meetings 1-0 this season and overall have only lost to United once in their respective history- a 2-1 loss in the semifinal of this competition in 2024 . 

Ella Toone is a big player for Manchester United and England, having scord in last season's FA Cup final at Wembley and famously in the Euro 2022 final. 

Sonia Bompastor goes with a 3-4-3, which she used in Chelsea's final match of the Women's Super League last weekend, while Millie Bright, Naomi Girma and Nathalie John in defence. 

Winning the league ultimately, is the target for Manchester United's men's and women's team in 2028- under the umbrella of the clubs' project 150. But are United really committed to success on the Women's side. There will be focis on whether Sir Jim Ratcliffe and senior figure in Unitd Women's department, including CEO Omar Borrata and technical director Jason Wilcox will be there at Wembley after their notable absence from United's historic Women's FA Cup success last May. 

'Rebel' Marc Skinner has challenged his Manchester United players to go 'through hell' in their quest to retain the Women's FA Cup title at the expense of Chelsea's invincibles. 

He said, "Results-wise, Chelsea are the best team and the hardest team to come up against. If you know anything about us, we are rebels and we don't like just accepting this is the case."

While Marc Skinner may be envious of the Chelsea's spending power- with Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian this week purchasing a reported 10 percnt stake in the club for around £20m- he insisted that it simply piles more pressure on Sonia Bompastor. 

He said,  "You are funding to win Champions League and go domestically unbeaten. Their task becomes harder in my opinion because they are going from they've got to achieve that 0.5 per cent, not one per cent, it is even smaller."

Manchester United are the defending champions, so they will be looking to bag the back-to-back title success, whereas Chelsea will be aiming to maintain their dominance in the competition. Chelsea have won the FA Cup title four times in the past seven seasons.
