Chatgpt Year End Wrapped 2025: These days it seems like the whole tech industry starts following the same trend as soon as one tech giant comes up with it; this time it's the year-end reviews. Joining this bandwagon this time is ChatGPT, which has come out with its own version of what looks like a Spotify Wrapped. This new feature is being dubbed "Your Year with ChatGPT", although this new feature is available in select markets only, which for starters includes the United States.
Apart from the United States, other English-speaking markets like Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand have also joined the club of countries receiving this feature.
Who Is It Available For?
At launch, the feature is being rolled out to users on the free, Plus, and Pro tiers who have both the “reference saved memories” and “reference chat history” settings enabled and have crossed a certain minimum conversation activity threshold, as confirmed to TechCrunch over email.
Team, Enterprise, and Education users are outside the scope of this rollout and won’t be able to access the “Your Year with ChatGPT” experience. OpenAI further emphasises that the feature is designed to be “lightweight, privacy-forward, and user-controlled,” keeping user comfort and control at the centre of the experience.
Taking cues from the year-end recap trend made popular by consumer platforms, “Your Year with ChatGPT” borrows inspiration from Spotify Wrapped. Just like Spotify’s yearly highlight reel, OpenAI uses visually engaging graphics and tailors the experience to each individual, offering fun “awards” that reflect how someone has interacted with the chatbot across the year. For example, users who frequently relied on ChatGPT to troubleshoot, refine ideas, or work through complex thoughts may receive the “Creative Debugger” award, spotlighting that usage pattern in a more playful and personal way.
Along with these awards, the experience also generates a poem and an image centred around the themes and subjects you engaged with most over the year. The company hints that it will be interesting to see how this creative element evolves in the future as ChatGPT expands its capabilities further.
Although the year-end recap will be highlighted on the ChatGPT app’s home screen, it won’t be pushed automatically or forced upon users. Instead, it remains an optional experience that users can open and explore at their own pace. The feature is being made available across both the ChatGPT web interface and the mobile apps on iOS and Android, ensuring accessibility across platforms.

Users who want to jump straight into it don’t have to wait for the prompt on the home screen either—they can simply ask ChatGPT for “Your Year with ChatGPT” to activate the experience directly.
