APPLE, after a massive inauguration of the first-ever retail store in Bandra-Kurla Complex in the presence of CEO Tim Cook, the company is now all set to open the second store in India at Select Citywalk Mall, Saket, Delhi. According to the reports, the company would be opening the store at 10 am on April 20.

Just like the Mumbai BKC store was inspired by the Kaali Peeli Taxi, the report suggests that the Apple Delhi Store would be inspired by Delhi's different gates which would portray the story of the city in a timeline manner. By opening the store in Delhi, the company’s aim would be to help customers see, explore and purchase different kinds of Apple gadgets with a great service experience.

The company already hinted at the aforementioned details in a statement, saying, "The colourful artwork celebrates Apple's second store in India — located right in the nation's capital."

The Delhi retail outlet would be open for customers, fans, and tech enthusiasts shortly after it gets inaugurated, just like Apple's first retail store. In addition to receiving individualised assistance and support from the staff of the store, they would be able to explore their creative inspiration.

Meanwhile, the reports also suggest that the rent of the Apple BKC store in Mumbai and the upcoming Delhi store is almost the same. The report suggests that the Delhi store has a rent of Rs 40 lakh per month while the Mumbai store has a rent of around Rs 42 lakh per month. However, the Delhi store is much smaller than the Mumbai store, and the rent is almost the same.

This followed the release of documents by CRE Matrix that purported to be a lease deed for a store in Delhi and made it clear that the store's ten-year lease was up for renewal the following year. Apple and Select Infra signed the lease deed on July 18, the report further mentioned.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is also reported to meet PM Modi today.
