Honor has expanded its Play series in China with the launch of the Honor Play 70C, alongside the Play 80 Plus.The latest smartphone belongs to the budget category and is available in different versions.

Honor Play 70C is priced at 599 yuan for the model that has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. The model that has 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 699 yuan. Finally, the model that features 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 799 yuan.

It is available in three colour options, including Lake Blue, Moonlit Silver, and Ink Rock Black.

Honor Play 70C Specifications

The Honor Play 70C runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and supports dual Nano SIM cards. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen also offers a 90.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio and supports up to 16.7 million colours.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The phone comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage, depending on the variant you choose.

Camera And Features

For photography, the phone includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, also with an f/2.2 aperture.

The device includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and gravity sensor. Connectivity options cover Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, a USB Type-C port, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Battery And Design

The Honor Play 70C is backed by a 5,300mAh battery. The company claims it can deliver up to 14 hours of scrolling, 10 hours of video calls, and up to 71 hours of standby time on a single charge.

Regarding the design, the dimensions of the phone are 167 x 77 x 7.89mm, and the weight is about 186g, which helps the phone to remain thin considering its sizeable battery.

Generally, the Honor Play 70C phone has been developed in such a way that it emphasises providing a large screen, sufficient battery life, and basic features within a reasonable cost.
