Huawei is getting ready to bring two new tablets to India, and we now have a much clearer picture of what to expect. The Huawei MatePad 11.5 and Huawei MatePad SE 11 have surfaced on Flipkart with full specifications, pricing details, and design reveals ahead of their official launch.
Both tablets will only be sold in Wi-Fi variants in India, and interestingly, Huawei is sticking with its in-house Kirin chipsets for both devices.

MatePad 11.5 Feels Like The More Premium Pick
Starting with the MatePad 11.5, this one is clearly positioned as the more capable of the two. It runs on Huawei’s Kirin T82B chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which should be enough for everyday multitasking and media use.
The display is a big highlight here. You get an 11.5-inch 2.5K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits brightness. Huawei is also using its PaperMatte finish, which is aimed at reducing glare and making long reading sessions easier on the eyes.
Camera duties are handled by a 13-megapixel rear sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera, with support for 1080p video recording. The tablet also packs a sizeable 10,100mAh battery, which should comfortably last through a full day of use.
In terms of build, it’s slim at just 6.1mm and weighs around 515g. It will also ship with a detachable keyboard, which hints at a more productivity-focused approach.
MatePad SE 11 Keeps Things Simple
The MatePad SE 11, on the other hand, is clearly aimed at more casual users. It runs on the older Kirin 710A chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
You get an 11-inch Full HD+ display with up to 400 nits brightness, along with TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free viewing. It’s not as sharp or fast as the MatePad 11.5, but it should be good enough for streaming, browsing, and light work.
Camera setup is basic, with an 8-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera, again with 1080p video support. The tablet is backed by a 7,700mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.
It’s also slightly lighter and thicker than the 11.5 model, coming in at 475g and 6.9mm.
Price And Availability
Huawei has already revealed the starting prices for both models in India. The MatePad 11.5 will start at Rs. 27,999, while the MatePad SE 11 is expected to be available from Rs. 13,749. Do note, these are effective prices and may include bank offers or launch deals.
Both tablets will be available for purchase via Flipkart once they go on sale.
