Motorola is quietly expanding its Edge 70 lineup in India again, and this time the spotlight is on the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+. After launching the Edge 70 Pro last month, the company has now started teasing a new model that appears to bring a few notable upgrades, especially in cameras, charging, and memory.

A dedicated Flipkart microsite for the upcoming phone has already gone live, which more or less confirms that the launch is not far away. While Motorola hasn’t officially revealed the launch date yet, the phone’s name can already be spotted in the page URL, leaving very little mystery around what’s coming next.
From the teasers, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ looks quite similar to the Edge 70 Pro in terms of overall design. It features the same curved styling and a square-shaped rear camera module with a triple-camera setup and LED flash. But Motorola seems to be focusing heavily on the camera experience this time. The company has confirmed that the phone will use a Sony LYT sensor paired with an 81mm focal length lens and optical image stabilisation, hinting at a dedicated telephoto camera.
The phone is also expected to arrive with some premium additions that were missing on the Pro model. Recent reports suggest the Edge 70 Pro+ could support wireless charging and may offer up to 16GB RAM, making it a more performance-focused option in the series.
Motorola is also giving the device a more fashion-oriented touch with three distinct finishes. The brown variant is shown with a sculpted wood-like texture, while the red version gets a satin-style finish. There’s also a teal option with a twill-inspired pattern. These finishes help the phone stand out in a market where most devices tend to look increasingly similar.

On the front, the handset is teased with a centred hole-punch display for selfies and video calls. The power button and volume controls sit on the right side, and the frame appears to use a metallic build.
For context, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro launched in India in April with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, a large 6,500mAh battery, and support for 90W fast charging. It also came with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The upcoming Pro+ model now looks set to push the lineup further into premium territory.
