Bharti Airtel has added Apple’s iCloud+, Apple TV and Apple Arcade to its family postpaid plans in India. The new benefits are available with plans priced at Rs. 999 and above, giving subscribers access to Apple’s cloud storage, streaming service and gaming platform without having to take separate subscriptions.
The updated benefits are available on four Airtel family postpaid plans. The entry-level Rs. 999 plan comes with unlimited calls, 100 SMS messages per day and unlimited data through Airtel’s Fastlane technology. It also includes Amazon Prime, Google One, JioHotstar and Adobe Express Premium.
The Rs. 999 plan supports up to three SIM cards under a single connection. Customers opting for the Rs. 1,199 or Rs. 1,399 plans can connect up to four SIM cards and also get Netflix. The top-end Rs. 1,749 plan supports up to five SIM cards.
All four plans now include the Apple benefits as well.
Airtel Postpaid Plans Get iCloud+, Apple TV And Apple Arcade
The addition of iCloud+ gives Airtel customers access to Apple’s cloud storage service along with Apple TV and Apple Arcade. Users can therefore store photos, files and other data on iCloud, while also using Apple’s video streaming and gaming services as part of the same Airtel plan.
The benefits apply to both new and existing Airtel customers. If you're already an Airtel user, you can easily jump onto one of these new plans right through the Airtel app or by popping into your nearest local store.
Apple Recently Expanded iCloud+ Benefits In India
Airtel’s announcement comes shortly after Apple expanded what customers get with iCloud+ in India. The subscription now includes Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost, bringing cloud storage, video streaming and gaming under one subscription.
Apple’s standalone iCloud+ plans in India start at Rs. 75 per month for 50GB of storage. Airtel customers on the eligible family postpaid plans can now get these Apple services bundled into their monthly telecom bill instead.
