Ear (2) is a huge refinement compared to Nothing's first-generation audio product. Users can now get a more customised and seamless listening experience that meets their demands on a daily basis. Featuring the most cutting-edge Clear Speech Technology and Active Noise Cancellation ever, Dual Connectivity, Personal Sound Profile, and Nothing.

Nothing Ear (2) Specifications:

The earbuds have an 11.6 mm customised driver for deep, strong bass and crystal-clear highs, and a unique dual-chamber design improves overall sound quality by allowing for smoother airflow. Furthermore, Ear (2) has Dual Connectivity for simple device switching, improved wind- and crowd-proof Clear Speech Technology, and Personalised Active Noise Cancellation that adapts to the individual shape of a user's ear canal.

Ear (2) is also Hi-Res Audio certified and uses LHDC 5.0 technology. Users can develop their own Personal Sound Profile by taking a hearing test with the Nothing X app. Ear (2) will then alter the equalizer settings in real time to achieve the best possible sound quality.

Dual Connection:

Ear (2) supports Dual Connectivity, allowing users to connect to two devices at the same time and smoothly switch between playing music and receiving calls. For example, if a user is listening to music on their laptop and receives a phone call, Ear (2) will notify them of the incoming call. Users may quickly answer the phone using the earbud's push control, and when the call is over, the earbuds will restart playing music from the laptop.

Personal Sound Profile:

Nothing set out to produce an audio product that could meet the listening needs of each individual. With their hearing ID, users can build a Personal Sound Profile in their Ear (2). Ear (2) adjusts the equalizer levels in real-time to fit the user's hearing after taking a hearing test in the Nothing X app for an optimal listening experience.

Clear Voice Technology:

For the clearest calls, Ear (2) features Nothing's best Clear Voice Technology yet. With three high-definition microphones on each earbud and an AI noise reduction algorithm that can filter out over 20 million sound samples, Ear (2) can eliminate background noise and enhance the user's voice during calls in real time.

Active Noise Cancellation:

Nothing's noise cancellation technology with Ear (2), is used to provide up to 40 dB noise reduction. Ear (2) gives the noise cancellation experience with Personalised Active Noise Cancellation suited to the specific shape of a user's ear canal and Adaptive Mode, which automatically adjusts the noise reduction level based on your environment in real time.

Enhanced Performance:

After a complete charge of the charging case, Ear (2) can provide up to 36 hours of audio listening (with ANC turned off). It can last up to 8 hours on a 10-minute charge with rapid charging. Ear (2) also enables up to 2.5W wireless charging and reverse charging on compatible devices such as the Nothing Phone (1).
