OnePlus has started dropping more hints about its next N series smartphone. After confirming that the OnePlus N6x is on its way to India, the company has now revealed what the phone will look like and the colours it will be available in.

The latest teaser comes via Amazon, where a dedicated microsite for the smartphone has been updated with fresh promotional images. It confirms that the OnePlus N6x will arrive in at least Blue and Red colour options and carries the tagline "Beyond what you x-pect."

From the teaser, the OnePlus N6x gets a flat design with a clean-looking rear panel and the OnePlus logo placed in the centre. A pill-shaped camera module sits in the top left corner, while the LED flash is positioned separately beside it. The phone also has flat sides, with the power button and volume keys located on the right edge.

If the design looks familiar, that's because it closely resembles the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite rather than the recently launched OnePlus N6. The camera layout, rear panel and overall styling are all quite similar.

The latest teaser follows OnePlus' announcement earlier this week that the N6x will soon make its debut in India. While the company is yet to announce an exact launch date, it has already confirmed that the handset will be available through Amazon.

OnePlus is also keeping the specifications under wraps for now. However, reports suggest the N6x could arrive with hardware that's already seen on another OnePlus phone, which means buyers may not be looking at an entirely new device but rather a familiar package with a different name.

For some context, the OnePlus N6 was introduced in India on June 30 at a starting price of Rs. 22,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant.

This phone has a 6.75 inch HD LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. It has the Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset and comes equipped with 8000mAh battery that can be charged through the 45W fast charging system and 6.5W reverse wired charging system.

With regard to the camera of the phone, it has the 50-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. This phone has an IP65 rating against dust and water.
