Dell has refreshed its premium Alienware gaming lineup in India with three new laptops: the Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area 51 and Alienware 18 Area 51. The trio was first introduced at CES 2026 earlier this year and has now made its way to the Indian market.
The new machines are aimed at gamers who want top-tier performance. They pack Intel's latest Core Ultra processors, Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs and Dell's updated Cryo Tech cooling system to keep temperatures in check during long gaming sessions. Across the range, buyers also get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and customisable AlienFX RGB lighting.

Dell Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area 51 and Alienware 18 Area 51 Price in India
The Alienware 16X Aurora starts at Rs. 2,62,990. If you're looking at the more powerful Area 51 models, the 16-inch version starts at Rs. 3,97,960, while the 18-inch model is priced from Rs. 3,95,200.
All three laptops are now on sale through Dell's website, Dell Exclusive Stores, authorised retail partners and major online shopping platforms.
Dell Alienware 16X Aurora Specifications
The Alienware 16X Aurora comes with a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display that offers a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.2ms response time and up to 600 nits of brightness. Whether you're playing fast-paced shooters or editing videos, the display is built to handle both speed and colour accuracy.
Dell has also added its latest Cryo Tech cooling setup with a dedicated Cryo Chamber to help the laptop stay cool under heavy workloads. There's also a handy Stealth Mode that can be turned on with a single press of the F7 key if you want the fans to quiet down and the RGB lighting to become less distracting.
Powering the laptop are Intel Core Ultra Plus processors, with configurations going up to the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. Graphics options top out at the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. The laptop can be configured with up to 64GB RAM and as much as 4TB of SSD storage.
For video calls, Dell has included a Full HD HDR webcam with Windows Hello facial recognition support, dual microphones and Dolby Audio speakers. You also get a one zone AlienFX RGB keyboard and the Alienware Command Centre software, which lets you tweak performance settings, RGB lighting and game profiles.
The laptop runs Windows 11 or Windows 11 Pro and supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It houses a 96Wh battery and comes bundled with either a 180W or 280W charger depending on the model you choose. It weighs around 2.66kg.
Dell Alienware 16 Area 51 and Alienware 18 Area 51 Specifications
If you need even more power, Dell's Area 51 series sits above the Aurora lineup.
The Alienware 16 Area 51 features a 16-inch WQXGA anti glare OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and a claimed 0.2ms response time. The larger Alienware 18 Area 51 gets an 18-inch WQXGA display that pushes the refresh rate up to 300Hz, making it a better fit for competitive gamers.
Both laptops are powered by Intel's latest Core Ultra 290HX Plus processor and can be configured with up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. They also support up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage.
Dell says the 16-inch model can deliver up to 240W of total performance power, while the 18-inch version can reach 280W, giving both machines plenty of headroom for demanding games and creative workloads.

On the connectivity side, both laptops support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Buyers can choose between a Full HD IR webcam or a higher resolution 8MP UHD HDR IR camera with Windows Hello support. Depending on the variant, you also get either a per key AlienFX RGB keyboard or a CherryMX mechanical keyboard with per key RGB lighting. Higher-end versions even include an RGB touchpad.
Both laptops pack a 96Wh battery and ship with a 360W GaN charger. The Alienware 16 Area 51 weighs up to 3.4kg, while the larger Alienware 18 Area 51 tips the scales at up to 4.34kg.
