The popular Battle Royale Game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is soon going to have a light version developed by Krafton. This version will come with wider compatibility and can be accessed on more devices.
This new version which was initially named as BGMI Lite has now received a new name as anticipation of it launch builds up. The pre-registration campaign has also reached a new milestone, with the open beta slated to drop before the launch.
BGMI Lite Will Have A New Name
Krafton, the developer of BGMI, has confirmed the new name, and it's going to be BGMI Air. Although no new changes have come out from what was previously announced, but you can still expect a core BGMI experience that will come to a much larger player base through a more accessible experience. Currently, the developer has also confirmed more than 10 million pre-registrations before the launch takes place.
An open beta is soon going to make its appearance before we can witness the launch, although the launch date is a secret. August 25 marked the start date of pre-registrations for BGMI Air, and it is available on the Android Google Play Store. The game will be 1GB initially for download, and the developers have vouched that there will be no forced packages and the standard BGMI file is up to 8 GB.
For those who are already on BGMI the new BGMI Air will be available as a separate game, and no transfer of account will be needed and existing account can be linked. Despite the Lite tag, it is not going to be light on the experience.
