OnePlus may launch its next Nord smartphones globally following the recent debut of the Turbo 6 series in China. The company introduced the OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V in the mid-range segment. With rising interest outside China, speculation is growing about a potential international launch under the Nord branding.
Nord Rebranding For Global Markets
Reports and leaks point towards a possible rebranding where OnePlus could rebrand the Turbo 6 series for global markets, which would include India, and sell it under its familiar Nord lineup. The Turbo 6 may appear as the OnePlus Nord 6, while the Turbo 6V could launch as the Nord CE 6.

OnePlus has used a similar strategy in the past, bringing China-exclusive Turbo models to international markets with slight changes to specifications and software. This allows advanced hardware features to enter the Nord series at competitive prices.
Certification Sightings Point To India Launch
GSMArena reports that the Nord 6 has cleared multiple regulatory certifications, suggesting a wider launch may be in preparation. The device has appeared on databases such as SIRIM in Malaysia, along with approvals from GCF and TDRA. Certification typically happens shortly before an official announcement.
If we go by the convention of past release cycles, then we can expect the Nord 6 in India in the first half of 2026. Early certification sightings suggest the launch could happen earlier than expected.
Likely Pricing In India
While nothing is confirmed on the pricing front, the Turbo 6 series in China gives us a slight glimpse of what the prices may look like. The Turbo 6 could start at roughly ₹27,000, while the Turbo 6V could be around ₹21,000. If rebranded for India, the Nord 6 could be priced between ₹28,000–₹32,000, and the Nord CE 6 between ₹22,000–₹25,000.
Expected Specifications
If rumours hold true, then the Nord 6 could be based on the Turbo 6, and it might come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset under the hood and might be coupled with up to 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Battery life is expected to be a highlight, with a 9,000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and 27W reverse wired charging.
Its durability is also rumoured to get significant upgrades, like with the Turbo 6 offering IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, rare in the mid-range segment.
Camera setup is expected to include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS, a 2MP secondary camera, and a 16MP front camera. Other anticipated features are NFC, multi-band GPS, and long-term software updates.
While the Turbo 6 runs ColorOS in China, India and global Nord 6 variants are expected to use OxygenOS.
