Famous tech brands are now more interested in apparel and fashion. We say this as Adobe and Nothing have introduced their new products this month. Adobe showcased its Project Primrose at Adobe MAX 2023 in Los Angeles. This project included a dress which can remap its design in a click.

Secondly, the Phone (2) maker announced its Nothing Apparel recently. The update comes on the heels of the new beer announcement. Here are all the details about the two fashion products.

Project Primerose

In a showcase led by Christine Dierk, a Research Scientist at Adobe Research, the company showcased its ground-breaking dress with capabilities to change the look in its entirety via the interactive screens. According to Moneycontrol, it can switch across multiple patterns and adapt to the movement of the wearer based on the user's command. This strapless knee-length dress deploys light-diffuser components with a reflective polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) at the back side.

This material is found in smart window applications due to its low-power consumption and non-emissive nature which can be reshaped and intermixed to generate mesmerising visuals. According to the report, Adobe aims to make a wearable from non-emissive textiles which can act as a playground for the creativity of designers and content creators.
