Tecno has expanded its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Camon 50 Ultra 5G. Positioned as the successor to the Camon 30 series, the new handset brings a refreshed design, a high refresh rate AMOLED display, a large battery, and an upgraded camera setup. It will be available in three colour options and is set to go on sale later this month through Amazon.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G Price in India and Availability
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 39,999. As part of the introductory offer, buyers can claim a Rs. 3,000 launch coupon, reducing the effective price to Rs. 36,999. Tecno is also offering up to six months of no cost EMI on the device.

The smartphone will be available for purchase from July 21 via Amazon. It comes in Cypress Green, Misty Purple, and Nebula Titanium colour options.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G Specifications and Features
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G runs on HiOS 16 based on Android 16. It features a 6.78 inch ProXDR curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a 2,800Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
On the durability front, Tecno has equipped the phone with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It also carries MIL STD 810H military grade certification.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor, built on a 4nm process. It packs a 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging. Tecno claims the battery can easily deliver more than two days of usage on a single charge.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual band Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and a USB Type C port. The handset also includes an in display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and measures 7.75mm in thickness.
Cameras
For photography, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 700C primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 50 megapixel telephoto camera that offers up to 3x optical zoom, along with an 8 megapixel ultra wide sensor featuring a 112 degree field of view.

On the front, the smartphone gets a 50 megapixel selfie camera with autofocus for sharper self portraits and video calls. Both the front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 4K at 30fps.
