Vivo is gearing up to launch its S50 series in China next week, and just ahead of the official unveiling, both upcoming models have surfaced on a China Telecom listing. The appearance not only backs up Vivo’s earlier teasers but also fills in several missing pieces around hardware configurations, colour options and chipset details.
The lineup will include the Vivo S50 and the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, with the latter already drawing attention for its flagship-grade internals. Vivo has also hinted that the Pro Mini could launch globally under a different name, expected to be the Vivo X300 FE.

China Telecom Listing Reveals Storage And Colour Options
According to the China Telecom database, the Vivo S50 carries the model number V2528A, while the Vivo S50 Pro Mini appears as V2527A. Both smartphones are listed in three RAM and storage variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a top-end 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.
In terms of finishes, the standard Vivo S50 is shown in Space Black, Confession, Inspiration Purple, and Serene Blue colourways. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini, meanwhile, skips the blue option and will be offered in Space Black, Confession, and Inspiration Purple.
Display Sizes And Camera Setup Surface
The listing suggests Vivo is clearly differentiating the two phones by size. The Vivo S50 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch display, while the more compact S50 Pro Mini will come with a 6.31-inch screen, catering to users who prefer smaller flagships.
Both phones are listed with a triple rear camera setup, headlined by two 50-megapixel sensors and an additional 8-megapixel camera. On the front, Vivo appears to be keeping things consistent, with both models featuring a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
Chipsets Confirm Performance Positioning
One of the biggest takeaways from the listing is the processor split between the two models. The Vivo S50 is shown running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, positioning it firmly in the premium segment without going full flagship.
The Vivo S50 Pro Mini, on the other hand, is listed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, a detail Vivo has already officially confirmed. This makes the Pro Mini one of the earliest compact phones expected to ship with Qualcomm’s latest flagship silicon.

Both models are listed with Android 16 out of the box and dual SIM support.
With listings now live and teasers already out, Vivo’s S50 series appears ready for a full reveal. The spotlight, however, will likely remain on the S50 Pro Mini, especially if it does arrive globally as the Vivo X300 FE.
