Vivo has added a new smartphone to its T series in India with the launch of the Vivo T5 Lite 5G. Aimed at buyers looking for a budget 5G phone, the device packs a large battery, a smooth 120Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity processor. It also gets a 50 megapixel rear camera and comes in three storage variants.

The phone will be available for purchase in India starting July 22 through Flipkart and Vivo's official online store.

Vivo T5 Lite 5G price in India and launch offers

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Those who want 6GB RAM with 128GB storage will have to pay Rs. 21,999, while the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 24,999.

Vivo is also offering an instant discount of Rs. 1,500 on purchases made using HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and SBI Bank cards. Buyers can also opt for a three month no cost EMI plan.

The smartphone will be available in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colour options.

Vivo T5 Lite 5G specifications

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It features a 6.74 inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animations feel smoother. The panel can reach up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, while Vivo has also added an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. If that is not enough, users can add a microSD card with up to 2TB of extra storage.

For photography, Vivo has equipped the phone with a 50 megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera, accompanied by a secondary sensor. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel selfie camera for video calls and everyday selfies.

The standout feature, however, is the 6,500mAh battery. It supports 44W fast charging, which should help users get back to using the phone quickly after plugging it in.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and a USB Type C port. The phone also includes the usual sensors such as a gyroscope, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and e compass. It weighs 209g and measures 8.39mm thick.
